Starting from version 1.7.0, you can now set up even more precise mapping of your services to revenue codes (rasters) in HotelTime. This allows for a better breakdown of event revenues in your PMS statistics. Clear reports, accurate figures. Statistics have never been easier.

What does it bring you?

  • Revenues from each event are broken down exactly where they belong – by service category or even individual services.

  • In HotelTime, they appear clearly in performance reports and daily overviews.

  • A win for both finance and operations teams!

How to set up the mapping?

You can map:

  • by service category (e.g., rental, AV equipment, meals), or

  • down to specific individual services (e.g., dataprojector, coffe break A…).

1. First, check your setup in Confero:

a) Service Categories

  • Go to Settings > Categories > Services to create or edit service categories.

b) Assign Categories to Services

  • Go to Locations > Location Detail, and click the pencil icon for Room hire fees, AV, Meal packages, or Otherservices.
→ Check that each item is assigned to the correct category.

2. Activate the HotelTime Interface

  • Go to Settings > System > HotelTime Interface
→ If the interface is not yet active, please contact our Customer Support – we’ll be happy to set it up for you.

Tip: HotelTime revenuie centre IDs are available upon request from our support team.

3. Set Up Custom Mapping

a) Review default mappings

  • Click the pencil icon in the interface overview to see current default revenue centres used for transferring data from Confero to HotelTime (Function rooms, AV, Meal plans, Other services)

b) Add new custom mapping

  • Click the book icon next to the location

  • Select "New revenue centre mapping"

  • Choose a service category or a specific service and assign the desired HotelTime revenue centre ID
    → Click Save to confirm

Other important notes

Mapping Hierarchy

When transferring revenue from Confero to HotelTime, the system applies the following logic:

  1. If a mapping exists for a specific service, it will be used

  2. If not, the system checks for a mapping on the service category level

  3. If neither exists, the system uses the default mapping (Function rooms, AV, Meal plans, Other services)

Working with Multiple HotelTime Apps

If your Confero app is connected to multiple HotelTime apps (e.g., in case of a hotel chain), you can create individual mappings for each Confero location and HotelTime connection.

That way, you have full control over revenue breakdowns for each property independently.
